The closest metro/tram stop is called Staroměstská. Alternatively you can take a tram to Malostranská and cross the river on foot. It is recommended to have tickets bought in advance, however, some trams are equipped with vending machines on board. Tickets can also be bought via the mobile app PID lítáčka, and vending machines are available at every metro station and certain tram stops. The mobile app will also advise you on which type of ticket to buy and plan your route. Using the mobile app is highly recommended if you have a mobile internet plan.

Lunch options
We have not made any specific arrangements for lunch, however, we have collected a list of restaurants nearby that we often visit.
Czech restaurants offer "polední menu" (lunch menus) on weekdays from 11:00-14:00. These are daily-changing set meals with soup + main course for around 180-260 CZK - much cheaper than regular menu prices. It's how most Czech workers eat lunch, getting a quick, affordable, home-style meal. Menus are posted outside restaurants or online.
