It is our great pleasure to announce that the 10th International Conference on Protection against Radon at Home and at Work will be held
in Prague in September 2024.
This year, we would like to draw attention to the complexity of implementing the dose conversion coefficients published by the ICRP in the publication Occupational Intakes of Radionuclides: Part 3 (ICRP 137) and still unresolved regulation of radon exhalation from building material.
Assessment of dose from radon and progenies and building material as a source of radon are not the only topics of the conference. We would like to invite speakers on various subjects: radon progeny measurement, calibration and metrology, optimization of exposure at workplaces, new instrumentation and measurement equipment etc.
The conference is organized by the Faculty of Nuclear Sciences and Physical Engineering CTU in Prague and National Radiation Protection Institute.
