Description
The variation of the concentration of U(IV) and U(VI) species from uranium ores due to the alpha-radiolysis induced by an Am-241 source in several deposit conditions is studied. The X-rays patterns show some differences for the studied ores before and after external alpha-radiolysis. The concentrations of U(IV) and U(VI) species was determined spectrophotometrically.
